Since 1985, Silva Consultants has served a wide variety of corporations, institutions, governmental agencies, and private clients. The primary types of facilities we provide security consulting services for include:

Our primary focus is on private sector and corporate clients, although we have also done a significant amount of work for city, state, and local government agencies. We generally do not do work for Federal government agencies, military facilities, nuclear facilities, or prisons.

 

We usually contract directly with the facility owner, and work with the facilities manager, capital projects manager, security manager, corporate counsel, and senior level management team (CEO, COO, CFO). On new construction projects, we are often hired by an architectural or engineering firm to provide security consulting services as a part of the overall design team.

 

To maintain our independence, we generally do not work directly for guard companies, security systems integrators, security equipment manufacturers, and other providers of security products or services. While we greatly value the importance of these providers, we feel that the end-user client is best served when there is no potential for a conflict of interest.
